The world is turning upside down
Up is down; black is white. What’s going on around here? We’ve got Bush actually acknowledging that he said some things that he regrets. We’ve got a nincompoop being talked about as if she’s the future of a major political party. McCain has disappeared from the press all together. And the Dems are taking control of D.C.
I’m pretty excited by the changes we’ve seen over the last week and the changes keep coming. There are three senator positions left and a possible chance of two of those going to the Dems. Lieberman might be let off for all of his discretion’s, too, which gives the Dems a filibuster majority in the Senate. Al Franken might actually become a Senator in Minnesota. I love that guy.
Sarah Palin is still making news for some reason. There’s plenty of buzz that she might run in 2012 and I don’t think that the Left could wish for something more. I think she’s shown, inarguably, that she has no idea what’s going on in the world or in the country. Apparently, she doesn’t think that she had anything to do with McCain losing votes. Even thought poll after poll shows it to be true. Oddly enough, she’s still trying to convince everyone that god/dog’s will is being done. She talked about knowing that god/dog’s will would be done during this election. Doesn’t that mean that god/dog wanted Obama to win? So, his policies must be what god/dog supports, right? I don’t know. Somehow that stuff makes sense to people. I tell you what, it seems that whatever it is that someone like Palin wants she thinks that god/dog wants her to have it too. So, it must being tough teaching yourself to ignore what your own mind had made up earlier. Oh well, poor Sarah.
I also saw that Sarah Palin thinks that bloggers are a bunch of college geeks hanging out at their mother’s house in their pajamas. It’s these kind of comments that just shows how completely ignorant she is about the world around her, and certainly no clue about what the future holds.

I’m cynical about the two parties being very different also, but it seems impossible to deny that the Dems and Repubs have two very different ideas about health care, taxation, regulation, and the middle class. Repubs continuously try to get rid of the middle class, while Dems try to maintain one.
You speak as if those are two different parties. They’re not. Take a close look at the agendas. The Council on Foreign Relations will summarize it for you…
