Secessionist Endorses Secessionist: The Palin, Perry Saga

2009 June 24

Is anybody else wondering about this?  We have one woman, Sarah Palin, whose own husband was a good member in standing with the Alaska Independence Party and who, herself, actively sought their approval, endorsing a governor who has threatened secession himself.

Todd Palin was a member of AIP,

an organization that supports Alaskan secession from the U.S. To be clear, we’re not necessarily talking about friendly secession either: As the AIP’s founder, Joe Vogler, told an interviewer in 1991: “The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. … And I won’t be buried under their damn flag.”

Here’s a clip to showing her support.

While Governor Perry also threatened Texas secession early this year.

Clearly, there is some sort of weird connection.  Yes, Sarah Palin has endorsed Gov. Perry for reelection.  Perry seems to regard this highly stating,

If there’s a bigger endorsement in the Republican universe, I don’t know who it is than Sarah.

Now, Texas.  Are you going to sit there and allow a person like Gov. Perry to remain in office?  Alaskans, Sarah Palin won’t comment on whether she’s running for reelection for Gov. of Alaska but will you support her if she does?  Is a person like Palin really the one you want as VP or President of the United States when she supports groups like the AIP?

“There is nothing wrong with secession”

You need to see this video; it’s perfect for you Judel Morrforus Foir, Texas secessionist.

What’s ironic is that the Reps constantly talked about being patriotic, and now it’s popular to talk about secession. Hmm, kind of a sore loser are we?

“Are you going to sit there and allow a person like Gov. Perry to remain in office?”

Yes. There is nothing wrong with secession and most everybody that I know (I live in Texas) approved of his comment.
