World Only 6000 Years Old? Arizona Senator is Dumber than Dumb

2009 July 8

Yes, if you think the world was created only 6000 years ago you’re an idiot. I’m not going to be nice about it, you’re stupid. Thankfully for you, in America you have the right to be stupid. What does it say though when a stupid person like this gets voted to public office? That the majority of people in her area are also stupid.

That’s one of the flaws of Democracy, it depends on an intelligent society. Too bad America is full of dumb people that think like she does.

I love it when she says that we need to think more about technology, then says the Earth has been here six thousand years, then says that it’s lasted that long without environmental laws so why bother now.  It’s a hopelessly idiotic situation.  No, not everyone’s opinion should be respected.  They should have the right to it, and we should have the right to call them an idiot.  This woman is a complete idiot.

This is the same type of stupidity that you can find at the Creation Museum, and from Global Warming deniers.

To Godless America. I am looking at my highlighter and everything about the highlighter tells me that it is a created item. What is true of the highlighter is true of the universe. How can you can believe that some bang occurred and formed the entire universe and life just magically appeared. There is a GOD who created everything. Maybe you should read the bible again. God sent his son to die and shed his blood as a perfect sacrifiest so humanity can have a way of salvation. Your wrong, the bible is factual. The prophecys have come true and those of the coming future will come. I am praying for you and everyone who rejects God and the free gift of salvation because your eternity is at risk and no one in Hell wants to be there. Daniel chapter 9 gave us the EXACT date that the Messiah would enter into Jersulem. His exact death was predicted hundreds of years before the fact. http://WWW.CREATIONMUSEUM.ORG …. the evidence is all around us. If the bible is fiction then how can you explain fish burried in rock high above sea levels across the globe or MT. ST. Helen created a small duplicate of the grand caynon rock formation pattern.

Christianity will not go away, the Holy Spirit lives inside of those who truly believe in their hearts and have asked for the forgiveness of their sins. When you pray and see MIRACLES occur that can not be explained by anything expect for one thing…. THERE IS A GOD and he loves us.

Can you raise the dead or give sight to the blind????? Can you explain how these events where witnessed by thousands of people and you say that they are liers? These are not just those who followed Christ but the those who hated him because they wanted a Messiah who was like them.

Egypt has written evidences of Moses and the plagues and the parting of the RED SEA which was written and found just recently. The History channel aired that and show the tomb of the pharoaho.

The point is this: THERE IS A GOD, his word is true and when you die if you reject the evidence there is NO EXCUSE, you will be judged. Everyone of us is sinful and there is no way our sin can polute the perfection of Heaven… the only solution is to be Born Agian spirtually and have Jesus’s perfect account written next to our names. Salvation is a gift.. GOD WILL NOT TOUCH OUR FREE WILL. The choice is yours and your decision will last forever… Eternity.

People say theres no dinosaurs written in the bible if u read bible you know that they don’t call them dinosaurs they use other words to describe them here are a few verses
“…and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.” – Malachi 1:3 (KJV)
“…they snuffed up the wind like dragons.” – Jereniah 14:6 (KJV)
“…and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.” – Isaiah 27:1 (KJV)
noticed they use the word dragon i dont know about you but dont dragons kinda resemble dinosaurs now days hmm maybe
heres another verse from Job 40:15-19
“Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is chief of the ways of God.” translators have said behemoth may be an elephant or hippopotomus. But both of those have small tails, not a tail that moves like a cedar tree. The problem is that we limit ourselves to animals that are alive today, and none of those fit this description.Brachiosaurus–the largest of the dinosaurs. A dinosaur with a giant tail that was like a cedar, and huge legs that must have had the strength of brass and iron in order to support his enormous body.
Brachiosaurus was 75 feet in length, 41 feet in height, and weighed 89 tons thats a true behemoth.

I see. So, when you start off with the presumption that the Bible is fact then you can just change and interpret everything to go along with what is, actually, fact. That’s backwards thinking. Nothing is fact, until it is proven with evidential material. Then, it still continues to be kicked around by thinking people (not dogmatic) to try and find a chink in the mail. Biblical fundamentalists do no such thing. They dogmatically believe the Bible is correct, and try and match up facts to fit into their cookie cutter mythology.

If this is how you want to go about doing things its good with me, the only reason this debate is still going on is because you idiots don’t get it. And I call you idiots because a grade one could give you the answer (that is if you didn’t corrupt its mind already with this evolution crap).

Let me get this right… Prehistoric man built megalithic monuments, made beautiful cave paintings, and kept records of lunar phases. Why would he wait a thousand centuries before using the same skills to record history? The biblical time-scale is much more likely.

    • 2009 July 13

The biblical account is “much more likely?” What world do you live on? The Bible has people living for hundreds of years, the bible doesn’t even mention dinosaurs, it’s been changed and edited hundreds of times, it has never coincided with any historical fact, and on, and on, and on… Civilizations have come and gone. Religious beliefs have come and gone; I can’t wait until Christianity fades away. Also, no one waited a “thousand centuries.” Humans have only been here about that time, it took a long time after that before there was any writing, recording, or building taking place.

“If this is how you want to go about doing things its good with me, the only reason this debate is still going on is because you idiots don’t get it.” That’s exactly right, you idiots still don’t get it. Creationism and biblical stories have absolutely no place in distinguishing fact from fantasy. Your ‘good book’ is fictional, it is a myth.

There is to many natural phenomena which conflict with the evolutionary idea that the universe is billions of years old.
Comets disintegrate too quickly, not enough mud on the sea floor; Earth’s magnetic field is decaying too fast… just to name the ones coming to my head. And if you got so much proof why don’t all scientists agree with it, how many of you actually believe it conclusively…Wasn’t it around 50%? Mmm, let me guess. Half the educated world is idiots as well!! That doesn’t say a lot about your education system. Answer a simple question; why don’t you believe in God? Because you don’t believe in what you cannot see… Because there is no conclusive proof that there is a God… Well guess what, you haven’t given me any absolute proof that I am wrong.

        • 2009 July 14

50% of scientists believe in evolution? Is that what you’re saying?

I’m not a scientist. I can comprehend English, and I’ve read the Bible. It’s a jarbled up mix of “facts” that rarely correlate with its own previous chapters. I’m not a Christian because I think the Bible is dogmatic and void of much useful material. I’m not a Theist because I don’t see a point to being one. Even the concept of a higher power doesn’t make much sense to me.

I’m not going to try and prove science to you, I’ll leave that to the millions of scientists on the planet. Your natural phenomena sounds more like you’re ignorant of the science, so it’s a phenomena to you.

What I do know, regardless of science, is that there are written accounts of things taking place on this planet longer than 6000 years ago. It doesn’t take a scientist to see that by any account, Biblical or otherwise, there is no possible way that the planet is only 6000 years old.

Good now that we are finished attacking each others believes we can put that aside. Your believes is yours and mine is mine and I don’t want do debate that. I’m not a scientist and I’m not a Christian without fault. We can hopefully agree that both sides have many unanswered questions. As for the bible, and I fully agree that it has been rewritten to many times by to many individuals. I respect your views and I ask you to respect mine. But please don’t be misguided, the bible and the church is not Christianity. The church to me is just a building and anyway, “the church” got too corrupted over the years like every other institute in this crazy world. The bible is just a guideline for Christians, so even if fiction it is suppose to help me in my believes. The only part in the bible that I personally think is accurate accepted the live of Jesus (I do believe that He is my savior) is the Ten Commandments. It is actually a guideline in all religions in one or the other way, and even if you don’t have a religion you know you’re not suppose to take my wife, kill, steel… you know the rest.

Let’s put all aside, ok… the world is not 6000 years old. Then I think it is highly unlikely that the world is millions of years old due to evidence I think are substantial.

There are people that believe the world is only 6,000 years old, and they are clearly wrong…but damn, I didn’t hear her say that…or that the world was created just 6,000 years ago. Geez man, you finally get something legitimate to bitch about and screw it up!

    • 2009 July 9

She clearly states that the world is only 6000 years old. I’m not sure how you could miss that.

I listened again, of course being a bit conservative, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer…she said “it’s been here 6,000 years…the earth has been here 6,000 years, long before anybody had environmental laws”…
I will concede that she probably did mean that she felt the earth is only 6,000 years old…but again, that’s not what she said. but if that is her belief then she is seriously misguided.

It’s time for a real revolution! When the citizens rise up against the corruption and inside political dealings, then we will have FREEDOM again, the kind of freedom our forefathers had for a very brief period of time.

    Down with LIBERALS!!
    Down with CONSERVATIVES!!

If you identify with one of these groups, you are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

    GET WITH THE SOLUTION!!

Liberals seek to imprison your thoughts through such fascist tactics as Political Correctness and social blackmail.

Conservatives seek to imprison your body through tactics like the ruthless perversion of our capitalist system and an over-abundance of laws that only the insiders know well enough to manipulate.

    Revolution is coming.
    Revolution is coming.
    Revolution is coming.
